JPR Tiling have been awarded the tiling contract by Wates on Tasman house. Tasman house is a new build scheme to replace the current 1960’s building which was previously home to the Family Court. On an irregular shaped site with a large frontage to Wells Street, the scheme comprises a new basement slab at reduced level, predominantly accommodating retail space as well as plant/cycle/shower areas to support the office areas above. The ground floor is largely retail with a separately demised grand reception area leading to six upper floors of commercial office space. Totaling around 48,000ft², this complex development will deliver prime CAT A space in the heart of Fitzrovia. We will be installing Solus tiles to the wet rooms and all WC’s including accessible and lobby areas. Contract value £90k.

08th NovWates Group has emerged as a double winner from the prestigious 2016 Building Awards, held in central London. The company was named Major Contractor of the Year 2016 (over £300m). As a major contractor Wates has been involved in numerous flagship projects, including a series of developments on the Greenwich Peninsula; and the RIBA-award winning 61 Oxford Street. JPR Tiling were awarded the contracts on both projects and fulfilled them to a very high standard. We were also invited to attend the Wates Awards, where we were highly commended for Quality and Design on the Greenwich Peninsula MO104 project.

14th JulJPR Tiling have successfully attained the tiling contract by Maxwood Washrooms and ISG. Situated on Whitechapel High Street for Derwent London, the former RBS office is located directly opposite Aldgate East underground station and close to Liverpool Street and Whitechapel Crossrail stations. It will be extensively remodelled internally to provide 200,000 ft² of high-specification Cat A space, eight-storey building, including provision of a new entrance and open plan reception area. Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, the scheme consists of wall and floor tiling to male, female and accessible WC’s and showers on all levels. Contract value £200k.
Christian Dior, New Bond Street
28th MayJPR Tiling have been awarded the tiling contract by Ahmarra Installations who have been engaged to assist Chorus Group in the fit out of Dior’s new flagship store in New Bond Street. The package is valued at £300,000 and is due to open in June 2016. The House of Dior — a new luxury superstore is set across four floors and designed with input from architect Peter Marino. The boutique features variations of Dior grey and includes artworks by Marc Quinn and Tony Cragg. It is also set to serve as a haven for Dior’s high-paying clients, thanks to a host of luxury VIP spaces. We will be installing the front of house areas which boasts glass mosaics and stone floor. We will also be providing installation to the back of house area which includes ceramic tiling to the WC’s and shower rooms. Contract value £100k.
Kings Cross Development – N1 Gas Triplets
29th AprKing’s Cross is one of the most significant development and regeneration opportunities in Central London. Planning permission for the main site was granted by the London Borough of Camden in December 2006 for nearly 8 million square ft. of mixed use. The permission includes up to 25 large, new office buildings totaling some 4.9 million square ft. 20 new streets, 10 new major public spaces, the restoration and refurbishment of 20 historic buildings and structures, and up to 2,000 homes and serviced apartments. JPR Tiling have been awarded the tiling contracts for N1 by EE Smith and Carillian, this consists of wall and floor tiling to 217 bathrooms with specialized access panels. This project has been backed by Argent LLP who have complied a group of award-winning masterplanners, architects and contractors. Contract value £550K.
St Lawrence House
08th AprJPR Tiling have been appointed as the tiling contractor at 30 Broadwick Street by BAM Construction. This £25m retail and office scheme for Great Portland Estates, is a 95,000ft² office and retail development situated in the heart of Soho, surrounded by thriving restaurants and bars. We will provide the installation of Domus tiles to the WC’s, changing rooms, corridors, lifts and stairs. Contract value £400k.
